NICOLAS MINDER, BORN 1997, IN BERNE, CH
Nicolas Minder transitioned into the film industry after completing his apprenticeship as a chef. He undertook an intensive internship at Montezuma Film in Zurich before working as a cameraman, editor, and colorist for the company. In 2021, he founded his own company, Nicolas Minder Filmproduktion, and has since been freelancing on a wide range of projects as a colorist.

His expertise in color grading and color science was developed through attending various multi-day courses led by internationally renowned colorists such as Walter Volpatto, Cullen Kelly, Dado Valentic, and Hector Berrebi. Additionally, he continuously self-educates to enhance his skills.
​
In addition to his work as a colorist, he has been active as a camera assistant, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of the entire image pipeline from the moment light enters the sensor to the finished product. He also possesses fundamental knowledge in the field of virtual reality.
